Advanced Business Analysis is a 5 day course.  Candidates must have previously attended our Fundamentals of Business Analysis course and hold their ISEB exam in Requirements Engineering before going on to complete this course. 

This course is only available to those people who have attended our 5 day Fundamentals of Business Analysis course.

Intended Audience

This course is aimed at Business Analysis who have previously attended our 5 day Fundamentals of Business Analysis course and want to go on to obtain their ISEB International Diploma in Business Analysis.

Candidates must already hold the ISEB certificate in Requirements Engineering taken during the Fundamentals of Business Analysis course in order to qualify for the ISEB International Diploma in Business Analysis.

If you have previously attended our Fundamentals of Business Analysis course, but did not choose to take the exam in Requirements Engineering and now want to go on to obtain this qualification please contact us to discuss your options for doing this.

Part of the ISEB International Diploma in Business Analysis

The Compulsory module of Business Analysis Essentials, Knowledge-based specialism module of Organisational Context and the Practitioner specialism module of Modelling Business Processes are the remaining courses necessary for those wanting to achieve their ISEB International Diploma in Business Analysis .  Candidates must also take a one hour oral exam directly with the British Computer Society following successful completion of the four modular certificates. 

Course Objectives

This course when taken after our Fundamentals of Business Analysis course offers a route to achieving the ISEB International Diploma is Business Analysis.

Course Structure

Module 1 - Business Analysis Essentials
Module 2 - Modelling Business Processes
Module 3 - Organisational Context

The course covers the remaining parts of the ISEB syllabus not already covered by the Fundamentals of Business Analysis course.  These modules are Business Analysis Essentials, Modelling Business Processes and Organisational Context.

Achieving the ISEB International Diploma in Business Analysis is still dependent upon attending a 45 minute oral examination with ISEB in addition to achieving the required modular ‘credits’.

Course information

The duration of this course is five days. Courses run from approximately 9.30 - 6.00 on the first day and 9.00 until 5.30/6.00 on subsequent days. Three examinations are taken during the course, the exam fees are included in the costs shown above.  The format for the examinations is a one hour written (open book) examination based on a business scenario with 15 minutes reading time.

The course is non-residential, however we can provide a list of recommended hotels close to the venue for those wanting to arrange accommodation.  Refreshments and a cold buffet lunch are provided during the course.
